A Final Goodbye!

We had planned our timing to arrive at church just as church was ending at 8:30. We stopped at the McStop on 70 to do a final few important things. Take this group photo, get a final ice cream cone, and to have a private moment for all the students and leaders to have a proper goodbye.

Brent and I could not have asked for a more excellent adult leader team than Tim Mahoney, Eric Sloane, Kurt Peton, Melody Olson and Ann Sawatzky. We grew to love them even more then we did before. Nothing like 24/7 living, to really get to know people. These are all stellar people with true servants hearts.

It really moved me to witness all the hugs, words of life and love being shared. This was a two weeks where the love of these leaders for the RAK team and the love from the students to the RAK leaders grew so much. The focus once we landed at church would be and should be the families, but this was a really special time for this team to wrap up the trip properly.
