Children's Ministry

Cradle Kids [0-36 months]

We want to provide a safe, loving and Christ-centered learning environment for even the smallest members of your family. We want you, as a parent, to feel comfortable leaving your child with us while you attend a service. We want to help build a firm foundation on which your little one can grow as he or she learns about the Lord. Our staff and volunteer team create an environment where even the youngest children can sing, play and learn about Jesus and His love for them. Infants must be at least 6 weeks to enter the nursery.

Kids Junior [3-5 years]

Your preschooler will receive wonderful care by our loving team of staff and volunteers - we are dedicated to supporting parents by equipping children with a firm foundation of faith. We desire to challenge each preschooler in their personal journey to know Jesus. We do this through the use of our Orange Curriculum which includes fun songs, Bible stories and craft projects. Our goal is to help every child know that God made them and God loves them.

Celebration Kids [Kindergarten-6th grade]

Sunday mornings

Celebration Kids exists to train up a generation of authentic, lifelong disciples who are passionate about a personal relationship with Jesus. Through Bible stories, games and interactive small group times we help kids understand and honor God's Word and equip them to confidently walk out their faith in practical ways.

Wednesday nights

Our Wednesday Children's service is a time where kids can really get to know the Word of God. Through a fun and focused Bible-study format kids can learn what the Bible says and how it applies to their lives today.

September through May we offer Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ), an accelerated Bible memorization class. This a fun way to motivate children to understand the all-important truths in God's Word and help them develop a love for the Bible. Kids work together in teams to learn and understand the questions and answers in the Bible Fact-Pak and practice the competitive "quizzing" which happens when they meet JBQ teams from other churches.

"I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Psalm 119:11

Safety & Check-in

We consider the safety and security of your children to be of paramount importance at Celebration Church. For this reason we have an electronic check-in system for all children in our Nursery, Preschool and School Age areas. If you are a first-time guest, one of our staff or volunteers will assist you in registering yourself and your children. Please let us know at that time if your child has any allergies or special requirements. After you are checked in you will receive a name badge for your child, an item tag to label your child's belongings, and a security tag for picking your child up after service. At the end of service, you will need to show your security tag to one of the volunteers at the counter in your child's area. A volunteer will then get your child and release them to you. Children will not be released to anyone without the correct security tag.

If we need to contact you during the service, the number on your security tag will be displayed on the bottom of the screen in the Sanctuary. We also ask that you check in only the children that are entering the children's area at that time. If you plan to check a child in at a later point during the service, please check them in at that time. Children will not be allowed to enter any children's areas without a tag, so please make sure that you do not release your children without checking them in first. Thank you for helping us make Celebration a safe place for our kids!

When Jesus gave us the Great Commission there was no minimum age restriction. At Celebration, we believe that middle school and high school students are called, right where they are, to leave everything to follow Jesus. We want to lay a strong foundation of discipleship during the 7th-12th grade years that can carry students through the trials of, not just middle school and high school, but all of life. Our goal is to teach students to obey the Word of God, to equip them to serve as members of Christ's body, to encourage them to build strong accountability and discipleship relationships, and to empower them to be bold as they declare their faith within their communities.

We meet every Wednesday night for a time of worship, teaching of the Word, and small group discussion. We also offer a variety of ways for students to go deeper in their study of God's Word, develop mentorship relationships, and use their gifts and talents to serve their church and their community.

We know that the pressures and distractions of our surrounding culture make it ever more difficult to live a life that honors Christ; but we also know that for the same reasons Jesus and His gospel are that much more vital and essential in our search for love, purpose, mentorship and fulfillment. Celebration Youth exists to help students find all those things in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

ILMC [I Love My City]

ILMC (I Love My City) is our way of reaching out and serving our community. This could be anything from helping a church family member move or doing a free car wash, to volunteering at Feed My Starving Children or going on a Foreign Missions Trip. All year long, Celebration Youth tries to offer students opportunities to look beyond their own needs and share God's love with others in practical ways. Every year we also plan at least one trip, whether traveling around the state, around the country or overseas, so that students can learn what serving is really all about.
