Connie persuaded him to attend church with her where they both dedicated their lives to Christ one evening in April, 1957. That night Lowell's first words after rising from his knees were: "Wait 'til everyone hears about this!" Lowell wanted everyone to receive the same wonderful assurance of everlasting life through accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This has been the hallmark of his ministry ever since. He tells people about Jesus at every opportunity. 

It is estimated that 500,000 people have dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ in Lundstrom meetings video and 150,000 people have attended Lowell and Connie's "LOVERS FOR LIFE" Marriage Seminars. A gifted communicator, Lowell is known for his Bible teaching, strong salvation message, and humor. Author of 15 books, Lowell has also composed over 600 gospel songs and produced 60 music albums.

Lowell and his gospel tour team traveled nearly 300 nights per year for 40 years in ministry-owned motor coaches, conducting city-wide, interdenominational crusades, rallies, seminars, camp meetings and special engagements.

Lowell produced a 30-minute radio broadcast for 20 years on as many as 170 stations and several hour-long television specials for family audiences. For 12 years, "The Lundstroms" weekly TV program reached millions in the United States and Canada with the gospel message of hope and love.

In addition to his evangelistic crusades, Lowell served for ten years as president and chancellor of Trinity Bible College, in Ellendale, North Dakota. 

In 1996, Lowell and Connie started Celebration Church in Minneapolis.  Services are held in the 1,100 seat sanctuary at Celebration Ministry Center.  Thousands attend the various outreaches, such as "Beyond the Cross" Easter drama, "Country Christmas Celebration" and Summer Crusade events.  Lowell and Connie make their home in Savage, Minnesota.  They have 4 children, Londa, Lisa, L.J. and Lance, and 4 grandchildren.
