Celebration Church

For more information about the biblical principle of tithing please download this PDF.

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. "For God loves a person who gives cheerfully."

2 Corinthians 9:7

Create an account to give a one time gift or setup a recurring contribution that can be automatically sent to Celebration Church from your bank account.

What do I give?

Tithe - A good place to start is a "tithe" or 10% of your gross income. Your tithe should go to wherever you are being spiritually fed - in most cases this is a local church body. These funds go to support the operations, ministries and staff of the church body that serves you.

Offerings - Generosity is a lifestyle of which financial giving is just a part. We believe that anything given above and beyond the tithe is an offering - something given in response to something on your heart or to the Holy Spirit's leading. Offerings can include giving to benevolence, missions, a building project or for a specific project, ministry or guest.

How do I give?

During a Service

You are free to give your tithes and offerings during any Sunday or Wednesday service. You can also mail your tithes and offerings to the church office or drop them off in person.

Online

Online giving of your tithes and offerings is available for one-time gifts or for scheduled, recurring contributions. This safe and flexible option is the easiest way to give at Celebration Church - simply create an account! When you give simply specify the amount and where the funds are to be applied. You may add, edit or delete your scheduled transactions at your convenience and you can review your giving history anytime (note: if you have just created an account, please allow one week for your history to upload). Please allow 24-48 hours for your giving transaction to post.

Personal Banking

If your bank has an online Bill Payment Service, you can submit your tithes and offerings through your personal bank. Just specify “Celebration Church” as your payee, your name as the account, and use the following information for the payee address:

Celebration Church

16655 Kenyon Avenue

Lakeville, Minnesota, 55044

Your bank will send Celebration Church the payment and we will record it towards your giving records just as if you had written the check yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is online giving secure?

We’ve taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for “Secure Socket Layer,” a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.

I clicked the “Give Online Now” button and nothing happens.

When you click "Give Online Now," a new browser window is opened. If you’re using a pop-up blocker, the window won’t open. Most browsers will allow you to permit pop-ups from a specific website. In order to use the give online area, you will need to allow pop-ups from celebrationchurch.net.

Which account do I choose?

When you give online, you’ll see accounts for each area of giving. For your tithes and offerings, choose Tithe and Offerings. For a gift towards missions, or one of the other ministries listed, select the appropriate fund from the menu.

Can I schedule recurring donations?

Yes, you can specify whether you want your contribution made once, weekly, twice per month or monthly. You can set up as many scheduled contributions as you would like to several different funds.

What if I change banks or want to adjust the date or amount of a contribution?

You can edit or delete or pause a scheduled contribution at anytime including the bank routing number, account number, date, fund, frequency and amount. These changes will need to be made under the email address user name that originally created the schedule.

I received an email stating that my contribution didn’t go through. What do I do?

When transactions don’t go through, it is usually because of a typo. So try it again and double-check your routing and account numbers. Please do not include the check number in your account number and make sure all required fields are completed.

If I give online will I still receive a contribution statement?

If you created an account in the last fiscal year please contact the Accounting team to inform them. They will merge your giving records and your entire history will be available online (this may take up to a week). Contribution Statements for your tax returns can be downloaded and printed after the middle of January.

(Note: Contribution Statements for businesses and/or organizations are not available online at this time. They will be mailed.)

How do I download my Contribution Statement?

To download your statement (after you create an account and it has been merged), click the "Give Now" button above to log in to your account. Your giving for the current year will be listed under "Giving History". Choose the year you would like to download and then select “View” to refresh. Click the "Download Statement" link to the right and open the PDF to view and print your Contribution Statement.
