Job Title: Worship Pastor
Location: Celebration Church, Lakeville, MN
Job Type: Full-Time 50-75K / Year
Job Summary:
Celebration Church is seeking a passionate and spiritually mature Worship Pastor to lead our congregation in authentic and engaging worship. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading worship services, mentor team members and oversee additional part-time or full-time staff members, and the ability to work collaboratively with other ministry leaders and departments.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the congregation in worship through music, prayer, and scripture.
• Plan and coordinate worship services in collaboration with the pastor and leadership team.
• Select songs that align with the church’s vision and message.
• Recruit, train, and develop worship team members (vocalists and musicians).
• Oversee and schedule rehearsals, ensuring musical excellence and spiritual unity.
• Manage worship ministry logistics, including sound, media, and stage setup.
• Schedule and coordinate ministry volunteers involved in worship services.
• Foster a culture of worship that unifies all church ministries.
• Find new ways to continually improve and incorporate new and creative ideas
• Stay current with trends in worship music and technology.
Qualifications:
• Formal training in music or worship ministry.
• A deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a strong commitment to Christian faith and Assembly of God values.
• Current or in-process pastoral credentialing though the Assemblies ofGod.
• Extensive experience leading worship and teams in a church setting.
• Strong vocal ability and proficiency in playing at least one instrument (guitar, piano, etc.) is preferred
• Ability to lead and mentor a worship team both musically and spiritually.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Specific knowledge of music/production software and systems or the ability to become proficient through training.
