Job Title: Youth Pastor
Location: Celebration Church, Lakeville, MN
Job Type: Full-Time 45-65K / Year
Job Summary:
Celebration Church is seeking a passionate and spiritually mature Youth Pastor to lead our youth ministry in relational and intentional discipleship. This individual gets to lead youth operations, cultural direction, finances, and the development of our youth ministry in cohesion with Celebration Church, its Lead Pastor, and Family Life Pastor.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, Coordinate, and Carry out weekly youth services for High Schoolers & Middle Schoolers.
• Responsible for your own personal growth in your relationship with God and as a person.
• Develop & Deploy youth leaders to rally around students.
• Plan, Coordinate, Communicate, and Execute youth ministry events. (i.e.- Youth conventions, camps, missions trips, fine arts, etc)
• Collaborate with Kids & Family Life Pastor on ways to create trusted ministry environments & holistic ministry to the family & student.
• Build bridges for youth entering your ministry, those leaving youth, and those who only attend midweek service or don’t have a home church/community.
• Work with other ministry leaders and departments.
Qualifications:
• A deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a strong commitment to Christian faith and Assembly of God values.
• Current or in-process of pastoral credentials with the Assemblies of God.
• Good communicator/preacher. Preach biblical worldview and for life change.
• Leadership ability to lead yourself, your family, youth leaders, and students.
• Positive, constructive, and forward-looking attitude.
• Previous youth ministry experience preferred.
